John Cullen

John C. Cullen of Sault Ste. Marie, a professor at Lake Superior State University for 34 years, died Sunday, November 27, 2005, at War Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Cullen was born to Charles M. and Dorothy (nee Armstrong) Cullen on December 27, 1941, in Mt. Clemens.

Survivors include his sisters, Joyce Pierce of Tucson, Arizona, and Connie Carlson of Harrison Township; nieces and nephews Soli, Lynn, Skip, Jill, Billy, Susan, Jim, Dan, and Michael, and great-nieces and great-nephews Addison, Alexandra, Brendan, Charlie, Christopher N., Christopher Y., Cullen, Eben, Erin, Georgia, Graham, Ian, Jake, John, Katie, Keegan, Kelsey, Mikey, Philip, Sarah, Susan, Sydney, and Tyler.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Cynthia Braun, and a nephew, John Pierce.

Visitation was Tuesday November 29 at Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home.

A funeral will be Wednesday, November 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Pro Cathedral Church with Father Al Mott presiding. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary’s School in Sault Ste. Marie.
