Curtis Art on the Lake

Art and music will highlight "Art on the Lake" at Curtis Saturday, September 1, beginning at 10 a.m. The festival exhibits will close at 6 p.m., and entertainment will continue until 7 p.m. There is no admission charge.

Michigan artists and crafters will gather for a one-day festival on the shore of South Manistique Lake. Along with a wide variety of arts and crafts, the festival will include live entertainment, an extensive food selection, a silent auction of individually decorated chairs, and children's activities.

Live entertainment includes the Flat Broke Blues Band, Chasin' Steel, playing bluegrass, and Steppin' In It, featuring western swing. The food tent will offer Upper Peninsula specialties prepared by local chefs, and a large selection of beer and wine.This year, the Curtis Lions Club will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Community Building.
