Marlene, Stan Kennedy Celebrate 50 Years Together

Anniversary

They were married by the Reverend Marion Hostetler in the First Presbyterian Church in Kinde, Michigan, where Mrs. Kennedy grew up.

They spent 30 years at various United States Air Force installations throughout the United States and Canada. Their first child, Carole Lynne, was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and their daughter, Rebecca Faith, and son, Stanley Jr., were born at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois.

Following retirement from the United States Air Force in 1986, the Kennedys lived in Huntington Beach, California, and Colorado Springs, Colorado, until 1999, when Mr. Kennedy retired from aerospace engineering management with McDonnell-Douglas/ Boeing.

The family returned to the Kennedy family homestead in Pickford.

The Kennedys have six grandchildren, Roxanne and Amanda Chaney of San Diego, California, and Oakman, Margaret, Victoria, and the late Sarah Kennedy, all of Littleton, Colorado.
