Jean Donaghue

Jean Donaghue, 70, of Ozark, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Mackinac Straits Hospital following a short illness.

She was born December 4, 1938, in Detroit to John and Florence (nee Delisle) Lezotte.

Mrs. Donaghue retired from GMAC as a secretary in Florida. She lived in Velrico, Florida, and in Ozark for several years. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Velrico.

Mrs. Donaghue is survived by three sons and their families, Glen Martin of Ozark, Robert and Jill Martin of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Richard and Kim Martin of Arlington, Texas; three stepsons and their families, Thomas and Sharon Donaghue, David and Denise Donaghue, and Sean and Pattie Donaghue, all of Elyria, Ohio; three brothers and their families, William and Sally Lezotte of Howell, Jack and Margie Lezotte of Kentucky, and Bernard and Linda Lezotte of Tennessee; seven sisters and their families, Elaine Fernandez of Florida, Patricia and Ron Lukasiewicz of Brighton, Mary and Dan Dierman of Texas, her twin, Janet, and Wayne Chinger of Brighton, Jill Lezotte of Chesterfield Township, Dorothy and Ted Grisfore of Minnesota, and Kay Walters of Farmington; 10 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Robert, Richard, Robert, Amanda, Glynnie, Gage, Daniel, Jackie, and Jessica.

She was proceded in death by her husband, Thomas Donaghue, who died September 29, 2007; a daughter, Lynn Marie Martin, in 2006; a stepson, Terry Donaghue, in 2005; and a brother, James Lezotte.

Services will be held in Farmington at a later date.

Dodson Funeral Home in St. Ignace assisted family with arrangements.
