Summary of Council Proceedings
June 1, 2015

The Regular Council Meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015, in the Council Chambers at City Hall with Mayor Grondin presiding.

Police Chief Wilk commented on the status of Allied outstanding bills.

Council introduced Ordinance No. 516, “Water and Sewer” and set a Public Hearing for June 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.

Council discussed the placement of parking meters in the downtown and agreed to continue with the placement for 2015.

Council approved the Planning Commission recommendation for a variance on a parcel of property.

City Manager Therrian updated Council on the progress of the totes from Waste Management.

Police Chief Wilk updated Council on the status of the hire of a Police Officer and the animal control issue.

Council adopted a Resolution authorizing final payment on the DPW garage and City Hall project.

Council authorized a corrected Letter of Agreement on one of the encroachments on Marley Street.

The bills were considered, and Council approved bills in the amount of $ 26,649.28.

The next Regular Council Meeting will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
