Digital Photography Class Offered at Mackinaw City

Cheboygan photographer Daniel Welihan will teach a five-week digital photography class at the Mackinaw Area Public Library in Mackinaw City starting Friday, February 16. The two-hour classes will take place Fridays at 2 p.m., with each covering a different aspect of digital photography.

The first class, focusing on “Taking a Great Picture,” is free to attend, with a $10 per class charge for the other four, or a $35 charge if preregistering in advance for all of them by Monday, February 12.

Preregistration is recommended, as class sizes are limited to 20 people per lesson. Those who wish to reserve a spot in the class may do so by calling the library at (231) 436-5451 or e-mailing mackinaw1@gmail.com.

Mr. Welihan has been involved in photography for more than 45 years and previously taught classes on the subject at Jackson Community College, the Cheboygan Area Public Library, and the Presque Isle District Library.
