Charles Frazier

Charles Frazier Charles Frazier Charles Leo Frazier, 85, of Grand Haven, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, in Grand Haven.

He was born March 10, 1932, to Charles and Isabelle (nee Bellant) Frazier in Epoufette.

Mr. Frazier served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He married Delphine Wartella October 2, 1954.

Mr. Frazier was employed as an engineer for many years with the University of Michigan on the Inland Seas and Laurentian in Grand Haven. He retired after 10 years from the City of Grand Rapids, where he was employed as a supervisor in the water department.

He was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Mr. Frazier enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, and trapping.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Delphine; four children and their families, Sherry Frazier and John Rogers of Michigan, Jeffrey and Sherry Anne Frazier of Midland, Peggy and Mark Rayner of Muskegon, and Christopher Frazier of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Rachel and Jimmy Guthrie, Jamey Keena, Kara and Thomas Frazier-Coxey, Jacob Rayner, and Adam Rayner, and great-grandchildren, Ashley Borgeson and Anthony Curtis. He is also survived by two brothers and their families, Ronald and Tillie Frazier and Arnold and Lorraine Frazier; three sisters and their families, Marlene Grondin, Kathy Lawnichak, and Nora Frazier, a sister-in-law and her family, Fayda and Ken Mills, and two brothersin law and their families, Mick and Maricarol Wartella and Chuck and Mary Wartella.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori; a baby son, Gerald; a grandson, Jason Curtis, several brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law.

Services were held with military honors Saturday, January 27, at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in West Olive with Reverend Dennis Dufon officiating. Visitation was from 10 a.m. to time of the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the United Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Ottawa.

Clock Funeral Home in Grand Haven assisted the family with arrangements.
